This option provides an analog output signal for continuous monitoring of the conductivity of the aqueous solution. Suitable for use with the PyraMed KT1 and PyraMed MX.
A phono connector is fitted to the underside of the PyraMed to allow connection from the analog output to a digital multimeter. The output voltage is proportional to the ppm concentration, where 1 volt dc represents 10 ppm. As an example, a reading of 0.3 volts would correspond to 3 ppm.
Measurement of ppm relates to the ionic concentration of the liquid. The total concentration (TC) = ionic concentration + colloidal concentration. For optimum concentration, TC is approximately 20 ppm.
